Please note that some car GPS systems and internet place finders like mulitmap.com will send you to the wrong place if you enter WA10 1LX. It is unfortunately out by a couple of hundred yards although it is in the general area. It is best to use the following instructions in conjunction with your preferred system.

By Road

M62

Exit at Junction 7 and turn onto A570 St.Helens Linkway. Follow signs for St.Helens Town Centre. At the1st roundabout go straight on (1st exit). At the 2nd roundabout go straight on (2nd exit). At the 3rd roundabout take the 2nd exit still following signs for the town centre and effectively going straight on. This roundabout has a petrol station and a fast food restaurant on it. At the 4th roundabout turn right (3rd exit). At the 5th roundabout turn left taking the 2nd exit. This goes up a small brow to a set of traffic lights that lead you onto Corporation Street. Follow Corporation Street and turn right in front of Holy Cross Church into Hall Street and take the immediate left from Hall Street just past the church into Parade Street. Follow Parade Street till you meet Charles Street (1st junction past the church) and Catalyst Studios entrance door is on the left on the corner Charles Street and Parade Street.

A580 East Lancashire Road

Please note that the junction you come off at is commonly referred to as “Windle Island” although it is a normal junction.

From Liverpool turn right onto the A570 Rainford Road

From Manchester turn left onto the A570 Rainford Road

Follow the A570 Rainford Road and signs for St.Helens Town Centre. This is a straight road to the town centre with no turn offs. The road does change its name a number of times into Greenfield Road, Dentons Green Lane and at the traffic lights straight across into Duke Street. At the end of Duke Street there is a large traffic island at which you go straight across (2nd exit) to a mini-roundabout at which you turn right (2nd exit) into Corporation Street. This street travels past the Law Courts and automatically turns left into Birchley Street. From Birchley Street you must take the 2nd right into Cansfield Street. From Cansfield Street take the 1st right into Bryn Strreet. Follow Bryn Street to the bottom and turn left into Parade Street. Follow Parade until you meet Charles Street and Catalyst Studios entrance door is on the right on the corner of Charles/Parade Street.

By Train

Follow Corporation Street and turn right in front of Holy Cross Church into Hall Street and take the immediate left from Hall Street just past the church into Parade Street. Follow Parade Street till you meet Charles Street (1st junction past the church) and Catalyst Studios entrance is on the left on the corner Charles Street and Parade Street.

By Bus

Catalyst Studios is located opposite St.Helens Main Town Centre Bus Station. Look for the Theatre Royal and Holy Cross Church and the studio is situated in between those two buildings in Charles Street. The entrance door is on the left on the corner of Charles and Parade Street.
